About 40 Delhaize stores in Belgium and Luxembourg were hit, along with ICA and Coop shops in Sweden, 13 SuperValu stores in Ireland, 15 Carrefour stores, five Colruyt-run Spar shops, a Selver store in Estonia, K-stores in Finland and at least 17 companies in the Netherlands. Sabcobel, which runs Delhaize's refrigeration systems, said evaporators were switched to defrost mode, mirroring an October attack on French supermarkets; temperatures reportedly reached up to 50C.
