At Snapdragon Summit 2026 in Maui, Qualcomm revealed two flagship chips: the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 and a higher-tier Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, both on TSMC's 2nm process. Qualcomm says the Extreme version can run a 30-billion-parameter mixture-of-experts model locally, while both chips get new sensing hubs for local voice agents and AI-enhanced camera and audio features.
