Nvidia announced the Open Agent Safety Platform, pairing NVIDIA OpenShell, an open-source (Apache 2.0) secure runtime that sandboxes AI agents with kernel-level isolation on Vera CPUs, with NVIDIA Sentry, a monitoring component running on BlueField-4 network chips rather than CPUs or GPUs. Nvidia calls it a reference design, meaning partners build and sell actual products on top of it.
