Universal Quantum, founded in 2018 by University of Sussex professors Sebastian Weidt and Winfried Hensinger, raised over $100m in Series A funding co-led by DCVC and Firgun Ventures, with EDBI, Artal, Roblox CEO Dave Baszucki and others participating.
