What happened
Amazon announced Thursday, September 24, 2026 at its Accelerate seller conference in Seattle that new multichannel selling tools in Seller Central let sellers connect eBay, Shopify, TikTok and Walmart accounts to manage listings, orders and profitability alongside their Amazon business. The rollout is gradual across the U.S. store, starting with connecting accounts, importing and linking listings, viewing orders, and fulfilling across channels, with more channels and features planned in coming months.
Why it matters
More than 95% of independent sellers already sell across multiple channels, and previously each platform required a separate login, dashboard and listing format, consuming significant time for sellers managing many products. Amazon executive Mary Beth Westmoreland said seller data from other platforms is only shown to that seller and never used for other purposes, addressing concerns after a 2020 report that Amazon used seller data to build competing products.
What’s next
Amazon said it will add more channels and capabilities to the multichannel tools over the coming months.Amazon
